Angel Training
The ANGEL Learning Management System is Lee University’s web-based Learning Management System (LMS). A shell (website) is created for each course upon request. ANGEL can be used to automate many functions in a given course. Communities entailing multiple courses are also available for two or more classes of students to interact.
ANGEL provides an easy to navigate site for delivering of materials or links to students (print, audio (Podcasts), blogs, wikis, practice quizzes, video and more). ANGEL has received raving reviews for it's ease of use and assessment features (manual and automated).
Online tutorials in print and flash formats provide a method for self-study and provide step-by-step guidance as you learn how to use this valuable tool to automate many functions in your courses. Please visit the Lee University Angel Training web site for training material.
Faculty Web Design
DoIT offers the opportunity for Lee University’s faculty members to attain a web presence. The primary goal of a faculty website is to provide information, resume, and to allow faculty members to personalize their web presence.
Our goal in DoIT is to provide assistance for a web presence as way for students, and possibly others, to know the faculty member. Students have stated that they prefer getting to know their instructor previous to coming to class
Technology Training for Lee Students
Our efforts to assist faculty are at the forefront of our mission; however, we see the value in training students as well to make their academic experience at Lee Univeristy as enriching as possible.
We offer training sessions for ANGEL use, tricks of the trade for bibliographic softwares EndNote, Photoshop, Web applications etc. These will continue to build and we will offer more and more.
