Our Faculty Sponsors are Mr.
Alan Burns and Dr. John Zietlow.
Mr. Alan Burns is an Assistant
Professor of Business. Mr. Burns earned a bachelor of chemical
engineering degree from Georgia Tech and holds a masters of science
in operations research/systems analysis from the Naval Postgraduate
School and a MBA from Golden Gate University.
In 1979, He joined the Lee Business Department faculty, and for 25
years he has enjoyed teaching and working with students. After 25
years of faculty service, he was recognized for his considerable
tenure at the institution. He has been honored with the Business
Department’s Advising Award.
Dr. Zietlow is the main founder and initiator of Lee FMA
chapter.
Dr. Z has been teaching at Lee since Fall '02. He has been an
excellent professor of Finance Int'l Finance, Human Resource
Management, and Short-Term Financial Management. Here's the Faculty Update on

Business Department Publication: "...He presented at the Academy
of Financial Services annual conference, San Antonio, Oct. '02, on
"Short-Term Investment Performance Using an Ultra-Short Bond Fund:
and as the academic panelist presenting the value of the Certified
Cash Manager (CCM) credential. He presented at the Association for
Financial Professionals annual conference, New Orleans, Nov. '02, on
Practical Principles of Finance: and co presented on "Treasury
Management in Nonprofit World: Best Practices from the Christian
Children's Fund". He also presented at the Evangelical Foreign
Missions Agency (EFMA) annual Tax & Finance Seminar, Chicago, Jan.
'03, on "Cash Management," a two-hour session oriented to
faith-based foreign missions agencies."
